Promoting Equity and Inclusion through Local Housing Strategies

The HLS Urbanists and the Joint Center for Housing Studies welcome Jeffrey Lubell (HLS ’93), an expert on housing policy and community development. His talk will highlight the role of policy at the local level in promoting equity, economic inclusion, and community development.

Jeffrey Lubell is Director of Housing and Community Initiatives at Abt Associates. Prior to joining Abt, he served as Executive Director of the Center for Housing Policy and Director of the Policy Development Division in HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research. He currently conducts research, analyzes policy and provides technical assistance on a range of topics related to affordable housing, financial capability and community development. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School (1993) and Harvard College (1990).
