The United Nations Association-UK (UNA-UK), in collaboration with Witan Media has released a major publication on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the post-2015 development agenda. The publication follows the September 2013 UN Special Event on this theme. At this meeting, states agreed to increase their efforts on making further progress towards achieving the MDGs before their 2015 target date, and to pursue next year international negotiations culminating in the adoption of a new development framework. The publication, Global Development Goals: Leaving No One Behind, offers analysis and recommendations in both these areas. It considers the context in which the MDGs were developed, assesses progress to date, offers views on achieving the 2015 targets, and provides insights into the creation of the post-2015 agenda. Particular emphasis is placed on those factors that have yielded the greatest advances, and the areas most in need of urgent attention.

Mrinalini graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2008, and completed her LL.M from the Harvard Law School in 2012. She is currently volunteering as a researcher on policy matters with UNA-UK. She has contributed to and is an assistant editor for this publication.
