Harvard Law and International Development Society

LIDS is a diverse group of students from Harvard Law School, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, the Fletcher School at Tufts, Boston College Law, and other graduate programs in Boston who are passionate about the challenges and opportunities that lie at the intersection of law, policy, and international development.

Advising

As part of our mission to develop a strong international development community and support students’ professional goals, LIDS offers informal advising from 2Ls and 3Ls regarding classes and careers.

Our Executive Board members have offered to share their experiences, which include thematic work in:

  • International health
  • Access to justice
  • Economic development
  • Women and gender-based violence
  • Human trafficking
  • Management/strategy consulting
  • Land issues
