President: Zach Weaver
Zachary Weaver (’25) is a 3L at Harvard Law School. Prior to studying at HLS, Zach served as a missionary in Fukuoka, Japan, earned a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies at Brigham Young University, and worked as a researcher/writer at the podcast “History that Doesn’t Suck!” For his 1L Summer, Zach worked at the US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, California, and for his 2L Summer, he is working at Gibson Dunn in Orange County, California. After graduation, he will clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Zach is most interested in issues of class actions and complex litigation, as well as anything to do with appellate and constitutional law. He spends his free time hanging out with his beautiful wife and watching his beloved Las Vegas Raiders.
Vice President / Treasurer: Felicia Caten-Raines
Felicia Caten-Raines (’25) grew up in Salt Lake City and received a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University. She took a break from her undergraduate studies to serve a mission in Taiwan, where she became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. At HLS, Felicia is involved in the Immigration and Refugee Clinic, the Crimmigration Clinic, and Student Government. She enjoys going on runs or hiking with her husband Grady in her free time.

Mark Thomas (’26) holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Harvard and is interested in economic and industrial policy, international trade, and administrative law. Prior to law school Mark was a management consultant in the Middle East, an economic researcher, and a tech executive. Mark served a mission in the Philippines and lives in Somerville with his wife and son. When he’s not reading, he enjoys photography, board games, canoeing and road trips.
Speakers Chair: Brecken Denler
Brecken Denler (’25) is from Mesa, Arizona. Before law school, he worked in Washington, D.C. for Senator Mike Lee of Utah as a legislative staffer, special assistant, speechwriter, and press secretary. Brecken has a political science degree from Brigham Young University, and he took a two-year break from his undergraduate studies to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lima, Peru, where he became fluent in Spanish. At Harvard, Brecken participates in the Harvard Federalist Society—of which he is the Vice President of Speakers—the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and the Harvard Law Students for Life.
