The China Law Association (“CLA”) is an officially recognized student-run organization at Harvard Law School (“HLS”) that brings together students, faculty, and outside parties who have an interest in law, politics, or business in China. The primary goal of the CLA is to promote the awareness of matters relating to China at and beyond Harvard Law School. Our values are inclusivity, community, democracy and transparency. We welcome participation of all HLS students and scholars and foster a spirit of community, compassion and mutual support among all our members.
We organize academic and social events related to Chinese law, business, culture and society through the school year and we collaborate with student organizations from Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School and Faculty of Arts and Science of Harvard University. We have over three hundred current members and hundreds of alumni.
