Students entering Big Law are likely aware of the dearth of women at the partnership level of the country’s top law firms. A new study released by legal recruiting firm Major, Lindsey & Africa found that for those women who are at the top, there is an average pay discrepancy of 44 percent (nearly $300,000 a year).
