The Harvard Law School Tax Law and Financial Regulation Students Association Proudly Hosted a Conversation with Daniel Tarullo

The Harvard Law School Tax Law and Financial Regulation Students Association was proud to present a Conversation with Daniel Tarullo.

One of Tax|Fin’s premier spring 2018 events was a discussion featuring Professor Daniel Tarullo. Professor Tarullo discussed current developments in monetary policy and financial regulation. He returned to Harvard Law School following time in government service, teaching at other academic institutions, and as a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund. From January 2009 to April 2017, he served on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System as the oversight governor for supervision and regulation where he led the Board’s financial regulatory reforms, including implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act, and revamped the Federal Reserve’s approach to the supervision of systemically important financial institutions. He was also the Fed’s representative to the Financial Stability Board (FSB), serving as chair of the FSB’s Committee on Supervision and Regulation, and chaired the interagency Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council. The panel was moderated by Caroline Shinkle (’20) and Danny Sufranski (’18).
