Caroline Shinkle

President  of the Harvard Tax Law & Financial Regulation Students Association (Tax|Fin)

Class of 2020

Caroline Shinkle is a third-year JD student at Harvard Law School. Caroline is originally from Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from MIT in 2015 with degrees in Economics , Finance, and French. While at MIT, she completed internships at the Bank of Israel in Jerusalem, the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. Prior to law school, she worked for two years at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in the Stress Testing Section. On campus, she also serves as the President of the Harvard Law School Golf Club, as the Public Policy Chair of the Harvard Association for Law and Business, as a TA, and as an RA in various capacities. She spent her 1L summer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City. This past summer, she returned to Cravath and worked in both their London and New York City offices.


Neil O’Dougherty


Class of 2020

Neil O’Dougherty is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School. Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, Neil graduated summa cum laude from Notre Dame in economics. Before law school, Neil was a math teacher at New Millenium Business Academy in The Bronx with Teach for America. Neil spent his 1L summer in the Antitrust Bureau at the New York Attorney General’s Office, and summered at Winston & Strawn LLP after 2L.
