About Tax|Fin

The Harvard Law School Tax Law and Financial Regulation Student Association (Tax|Fin) was founded in 2015. Tax|Fin engages students on substantive issues relating to U.S. and global Financial Regulation and Tax. The organization organizes and sponsors guest speakers and social events with professors, leading law firms, and financial institutions. Its mission is to educate students about current real-world issues, foster an exchange of ideas, and create a professional network of those interested in tax and finance. Specifically with regard to tax, Tax|Fin seeks to demystify tax law by introducing students to the landscape of federal taxation, the challenges posed by current approaches to taxation, the possibilities of tax planning, and the practice of tax law itself.
