HLS Law & Philosophy Society

The Law & Philosophy Society is a student-run organization based out of Harvard Law School. The organization’s mission is to facilitate conversations about philosophy and its relationship to law. To this end, the organization sponsors lectures and student-led discussions that examine general philosophic issues as well as philosophy’s role in clarifying doctrine and shaping the future of legal institutions. Through these and other initiatives, the organization seeks to create a community for students who are passionate about philosophy, allowing them to explore the questions that fascinate them and uncover new approaches to the study of the law.
