In September 2025, HBLSA participated in the historic fifth Harvard Law School Celebration of Black Alumni, which welcomed over 750 alumni and friends back to campus. Through plenary sessions, panels, and mixers, we engaged in conversations about the legacy of the Black community at HLS and work to be done today. Our membership heard from distinguished speakers including Ketanji Brown Jackson ’96, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, and Bryan Stevenson ’85, Founder and Director, Equal Justice Initiative.
