The Harvard Women’s Law Association (WLA) and the Harvard Black Law Students Association (BLSA) are thrilled to co-host “#BlackGirlMagic: Black Women Representing” on November 13 and November 14, 2020. Each of the seven panels that comprise this conference will center the voices of Black women and highlight the ways in which Black women in various spaces have fundamentally transformed American society and the world.
Among many other incredible Black women, the panels will feature:
Loretta Lynch, former United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch;
Tracy K. Smith, former United States Poet Laureate;
Allyson K. Duncan, former United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit;
Lauren Underwood, United States Representative for Illinois’s 14th Congressional District;
Emilie Townes, Dean of the Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
