The WLA 1L Committee hosted a bagels-and-muffins study break for rising 2L women participating in the Harvard Law Review write-on competition. The competition lasts for a full week and is known for being extremely challenging, especially because the competition begins right after 1L finals end. Current female members of HLR surprised the competition participants who attended the study break with encouraging and inspirational messages.
The WLA recently released results of a study it conducted which included data regarding gender and membership in the Harvard Law Review. We applaud the women writing on this year, as each of them is doing her part to increase female membership in HLR. We hope the yummy treats will give you the fuel you need to shatter the glass ceiling at Harvard Law!
