Benson Beidler is a 3L at Harvard Law School where his studies are focused on administrative, environmental, and maritime law. He is thrilled to serve as Co-President of the Harvard Space Law Society and Treasurer of the Harvard Animal Law Society, as well as on the ABA Maritime and Admiralty Law Committee, with the goal of advancing the welfare of all those working on and living in the ocean. To that end his summer internships have included positions with the Maritime Administration’s Office of Chief Counsel as well as the U.S. Coast Guard Judge Advocate General’s Office of Maritime and International Law. Prior to law school Benson worked as a merchant mariner, both as 3rd Mate and as Able Seaman. In his spare time Benson enjoys wilderness backpacking, chess, and playing guitar. He is definitely most proud of his Eagle Scout project.

Tim Dahms (’24) is from Fayetteville, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Poultry Science. At HLS, he is also an Academic Chair for Section 8 and a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. He spent his 1L summer at Lewis Rice in St. Louis and his 2L summer in the litigation group at Kirkland & Ellis in Dallas. Tim‘s interests include space rock, space movies, and, of course, space law.

Pranaya Pahwa (’24) is from San Jose, California. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in History and Political Science. At Harvard, Pranaya works as a Research Assistant for the Energy and Environmental Law Program, is the Professional Development Chair of the Harvard Plaintiffs’ Law Association, and is, of course, the Vice President of Membership for the Space Law Society. This past summer, Pranaya worked for the Social Justice and Impact Litigation Team and Human Services Team of the County of Santa Clara, Office of the County Counsel.

Yusuke Tsuzuki (’24) is from Kobe, Japan. At HLS, he is also a member of the Patsy Takemoto Mink Memorial Team, as well as a Lead Executive Editor for the Harvard International Law Journal. During his summers, he has worked at Davis Polk and Hogan Lovells. Yusuke received a bachelors degree in Economics from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University. Yusuke loves singing in choirs and practicing karate, but the pandemic has introduced him to the hobby of watching virtual tours on YouTube and pretending to have travelled the world.
