Shawn Haq (’27)

Shawn is a 2L from Los Angeles, California. Prior to law school, Shawn served in the Biden-Harris White House on the National Security Council (NSC) and, before NSC, spent four years as a China analyst in government. Shawn earned his Master’s Degree as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing, his B.A. at Cornell University, and his A.A. at Moorpark Community College.

Haylee Levin (‘26)

Haylee Levin is a 3L from Weston, FL. On campus she is the Co-President of the Harvard Mediation Program, Managing Editor for the National Security Journal, and a Co-Chair for the Women Law Association’s Washington D.C. Trip. She is also a member of the Jewish Law Students Association and La Alianza. She spent her 1L summer at DOJ’s National Security Division and her 2L summer at Morrison & Foerster’s Washington D.C. office. She graduated cum laude from Duke University in 2016 with an B.A. in International Comparative Studies and graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2018 with a M.A. in Security Studies.

June Lee (’27)

June Lee is a 2L from San Jose, California. On campus, she is involved with the Journal of Law & Technology and the Korean Association of HLS. She spent her 1L summer at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Prior to law school, she worked at a foreign policy think tank and the Department of Defense. She received a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.

Carlee Goldberg (‘27)

Carlee Goldberg is a 2L from Parkland, FL. On campus, she is a Submissions Editor of the Journal on Legislation and an Executive Editor of the National Security Journal. During her 1L summer, she worked with Senator Blumenthal’s Senate Judiciary Committee Counsel. Prior to law school, she worked as a special assistant at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Duke University in 2022 and a Master’s degree in Social Policy from the University of Oxford in 2023.

Maria Morrison (‘27)

Maria Morrison is a 2L from Port Townsend, Washington. On campus, along with serving the National Security Law Association, she is a board member for the Space Law Society and the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project. During 1L summer, she interned with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for the Air Force at Edwards AFB. She received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and master’s degrees from both the University of Cambridge and Tel Aviv University. 

Jacob Petrosky (’27)

Jacob Petrosky is a 2L from Charlevoix, Michigan. On campus, he is involved with the National Security Law Journal and works as a research assistant for Roman law and English legal history. He spent his 1L summer with the Navy JAG Corps. Prior to law school he spent a year teaching English in Taiwan, and a year studying classical languages in Italy at the Accademia Vivarium Novum. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.A in Classical Languages.

Jenna Boguslavsky

Jenna Boguslavsky is a 2L from Wayne, New Jersey. On campus, she is involved with the Harvard Immigration Project, the Journal of Law and Gender, and the Harvard Plaintiffs’ Law Association. She spent her 1L summer at Truth Hounds, a Kyiv-based NGO investigating war crimes in Ukraine, where her projects dealt with conflict-related sexual violence. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Economics and English. 

Sean Seyller

Sean is a 2L from Tucson, Arizona. On campus, he is involved in the National Security Journal and Armed Forces Association. He spent his 1L summer working at the Coast Guard District Northeast Legal Office. Prior to law school, Sean worked as a U.S. Coast Guard cybersecurity officer. He graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2021 with a B.S. in Government.

Ashil Jhaveri (‘27)

Ashil Jhaveri is a 2L from Long Hill, New Jersey. On campus, he is involved with the Journal on Law and Technology and South Asian Students Association. Prior to law school, he worked fulltime as a Research Assistant for a professor at Stanford focused on emerging technology, Intelligence Community, and national security policy issues. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Computer Science, B.A. in Political Science, and minor in Economics.
