Lunch Panel: Interstate Arbitration as a Dispute Resolution Mechanism

Andrew Loewenstein (Partner, Foley Hoag), Christopher Ryan (Partner, Shearman & Sterling), and Maria Chedid (Partner, Baker & McKenzie) will be speaking on the panel. The panelists will address, among other issues, the use and role of interstate arbitration in the interpretation and application of investment treaties, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of interstate arbitration compared to permanent international courts such as the ICJ or ITLOS.
