Panelists

A.J. Murphy joined Silver Lake in 2018 and is a Managing Director based in the New York office. Ms. Murphy began her career in leveraged finance at Bankers Trust Company. She worked in leveraged finance capital markets at Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan, focusing on Media and Technology as well as financial sponsors, and was head of Global Leveraged Finance at both Bank of America and Goldman, Sachs & Co.. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Ms. Murphy was Global Head of Capital Markets across debt and equity underwriting at Bank of America. Ms. Murphy holds a B.A. from Middlebury College where she was a joint major in Political Science and English.

Daniel Brand is a Senior Managing Director of CVC, and he joined the firm in 2009. He is based in New York.Prior to joining CVC, Daniel worked at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and Credit Suisse in the investment banking division covering financial institutions. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Eric J Lee is a General Partner in the Technology Group and a member of the Management Committee, having joined WCAS in 1999. Before joining WCAS, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Mergers & Acquisitions and High Technology investment banking groups. Mr. Lee holds A.B. from Harvard University

Kristin Steen is a Managing Director in the New York office of CCMP Capital. She focuses on making investments in the consumer sector. Prior to joining CCMP in 2011, Ms. Steen worked for both Lone Star Funds and HBK Capital Management. Ms. Steen also was an Associate at CCMP from 2005 to 2008. Ms. Steen currently serves on the board of directors of Shoes For Crews. Ms. Steen holds a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Adam Nebesar joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2006. He is a Managing Director in the Consumer, Retail & Dining Vertical and a member of the North American Private Equity team. Mr. Nebesar focuses on investments in CPG/food, apparel/footwear, and restaurant sectors. He has also played a leading role in recruiting and training efforts. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Nebesar was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where he advised clients in the financial services, healthcare, and non-profit industries. Mr. Nebesar received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He graduated summa cum laude with an AB in Economics from Princeton University, and he received an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar.

Jennifer Perkins is a corporate partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jennifer represents clients in complex domestic and cross-border acquisitions and dispositions and has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in leveraged buyouts and other private equity investment transactions in a broad range of industries.
