The premier student group at the intersection of law & business

The Harvard Association for Law & Business (HALB) provides a forum for students to pursue interests in business within and outside of law through speaker series, networking events, and recruiting opportunities.

We believe that top business lawyers and leaders provide their companies with a critical competitive edge to shape business strategies using legal ideologies, risks and ramifications in mind.

HALB routinely sponsors speaker panels from traditional areas of interest such as management consulting and investment banking, to other areas such as private equity, hedge funds, venture capital and entrepreneurship. We also host top business recruitment events that span the HLS community. Lastly, HALB organizes exclusive networking opportunities with other organization members, HBS students, and Harvard alumni which grants us access to diverse professionals working in the business community around the world.
