Mr. Cohen joined Apollo in 2008. Before joining Apollo, Mr. Cohen was with Bear Sterns which he joined in 1987 as head of its Risk Arbitrage Department. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Cohen as a risk arbitrageur at First Boston Corporation, a partner at Bedford Partners (a risk arbitrage hedge fund), and an attorney at Davis Polk. Mr. Cohen graduated with a JD/MBA from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. Mr. Cohen is also a member of the board of Mt. Sinai’s Children’s Center Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Phaidon Press Limited.
