Matisse Rogers
President

Matisse is a third-year law student at Harvard Law School. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2019 with a B.A. from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Matisse began her career in public affairs consulting at Penta Group (formerly Hamilton Place Strategies) in Washington, D.C., where she worked in the corporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy space. She spent her 2L summer at Kirkland & Ellis in New York City and Chicago and her 1L summer at Kirkland & Ellis and Warburg Pincus in New York City.

Sean Wynn
President

Sean is a third-year law student at Harvard Law School. Prior to HLS, he worked at Live Nation and Endeavor in addition to founding a startup and 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He spent his 2L summer at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and split his 1L summer between Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York City and Yorn Levine et al. in Los Angeles.

Danielle Mikaelian

Danielle is a third-year student at Harvard Law School. She graduated from Columbia University in 2021 with a BA in English Literature. As a college student, she occupied roles on over ten Columbia University executive boards and was named Columbia’s 2021 Student of the Year in recognition of her impact on campus. Before starting law school, Danielle worked as a consultant for a data-driven technology startup and in Government Affairs for the Armenian National Committee of America. She spent her 2L summer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City and her 1L summer at Schulte, Roth & Zabel in New York City.

Swati Vipperla

Swati is a second-year law student at Harvard Law School. Derek Wu

Lia Kapani

Lia is a second-year law student at Harvard Law School. She graduated cum laude from The University of Chicago in 2020 with a B.A. in Economics and graduated from UChicago’s Booth School of Business with an M.B.A. in Finance in 2021. Prior to law school, she led the Public Sector Investment Strategy team for the Chicago Mayor’s Office, which focused on attracting research funding for the private sector, investing in commercial development across the city, and aiding in post-COVID small business recovery. She spent her 1L summer at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

Jorge Mejia

Jorge is a first-year law student at Harvard Law School. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 2019 with a degree in Political Science. Prior to law school, Jorge worked in investment banking and regulatory compliance at UBS. He spent his 1L summer at Cleary Gottlieb, coupled with an in-house secondment at Warburg Pincus in New York City. On campus, he is involved in First Class, In Vino Veritas, and is a research assistant to Professor Howell Jackson. 

Phillip Champagne

Phillip is a third-year student at Harvard Law School. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University, where he majored in International Comparative Politics. Prior to law school, Phillip worked as a strategy analyst at Deloitte Consulting where he supported international data privacy compliance at FAANG companies. He spent his 2L summer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City and his 1L summer at a White Wolf Capital, a private equity fund in Miami. 

Andrew Steen
Director, Professional Development

Andrew is a fourth-year JD/MBA student at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Mathematics. Prior to law school, Andrew was an Army Ranger for five years where he led teams through complex challenges around the globe. He spent his 1L summer on the Brady United litigation team where he focused on reducing gun violence in the U.S. Andrew is currently building Laptis, which is a tech-enabled startup streamlining access to effective substance use treatment for lawyers, clinicians, and care navigators on behalf of their clients.

Chandler Rankin

Chandler is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. Chandler graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. Prior to law school, he was an SEO Law Fellow at Kirkland & Ellis in San Francisco, CA, and worked on Facebook and Instagram features as a product manager at Meta for two years. He spent his 1L summer at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and Susman Godfrey LLP in New York City.

Noah Wintman

Noah is a second-year law student at Harvard Law School. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Public Policy Studies. Prior to law school, he worked as a management consultant at the international consultancy, Kearney. He spent his 1L summer at Martin Kenney & Co, a boutique firm specializing in cross-border multi-jurisdiction fraud investigations and asset recovery.

Abraham Shalizi

Abraham is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. He graduated summa cum laude from UCLA in 2021 with a degree in Political Science. Prior to law school, Abraham worked in real estate private equity and venture capital. He split his 1L summer between the private equity firm Housatonic Partners, where he was on the software team, and Goodwin Proctor.

Prior to law school, Henry was Senior Manager of Strategy for COVAX, the international alliance to provide COVID-19 vaccines to 100+ countries.
