The core of the Christian Fellowship is fellowship. Regular community helps us grow in ways that one-time events never will. These meetings are a time for the entire Christian Fellowship to come together and build each other up.
Each Friday evening we meet at 5:30pm for a time of fellowship, food (we serve a family-style dinner), testimony and prayer. We finish around 7pm, so you’ll still have plenty of time for the rest of the evening to make the most of the start of the weekend. Our goal is for the weekly meetings to foster community in a laid-back, welcoming environment and provide the time and space for people to just hang out and be refreshed after a long week.
Weekly Meeting Breakdown
When: Fridays, 5:30pm-7:00pm
What: Fellowship – dinner (come hungry!), testimony, discussion, prayer.
If you plan to come and have a dietary restriction, please contact us and let us know so that we can work to accommodate you!
Much of the food we bring for meals is prepared by student volunteers. We always need help with food preparation, set up, and clean up. If you are interested in helping out, please fill out this brief survey.
Each week we ask a student to share a brief (5-10 minutes) testimony of how God has worked in their lives and/or lessons they’ve learned. If you are interested in sharing, please let us know.
Each week, we have a suggested topic of discussion to start a dialogue on life issues and law school challenges. These are just suggested topics 🙂 Our primary goal is to hang out and fellowship. Feel free to use or ignore these topics as you feel inclined. Contact us if there is a topic you think would be good for the fellowship to discuss.
We end every meeting in a time of prayer. We open up the floor to any praises or prayer requests and each pray aloud as we feel led. If there is something we can be praying about for you, please let us know. It would be our joy to pray for you.
