Abdou Soulèye DIOP is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, a leading international audit, tax and advisory firm. He is the Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Morocco, member of the Board of Forvis Mazars in Africa and the Middle East, and he is in charge of the Business Development for the Group in this region.

With over thirty years of experience in advisory and audit in Morocco and across the African continent, Abdou Diop has worked with public interest entities (both large public and private companies), international donors, and governments on issues related to strategy, sector reforms, and development policies. He also has a compelling experience in supporting multiple moroccan companies’ expansion in Africa, including banks, insurance companies, telecommunications operators, industrial firms, and real estate companies.

In addition, Abdou Diop is the Chairman of the committee chair “Africa” of the Moroccan Employers’ Association (Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc-CGEM). He is in charge of strengthening economic relations between Morocco and its partners on the continent. Abdou Diop is a key actor in the development of moroccan private sector strategy in Africa. He carried out several actions to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and african countries. He’s consellor in public policies and national or sectorial strategies for many african governments at the highest level.

Recognized by peers for his expertise in African economies, Abdou Diop frequently participates as a speaker and moderator in major national and international forums and conferences. He is also a much requested person for analyses, interviews, and opinion pieces by various media outlets across the continent and beyond.

He has as well earned the recognition of stakeholders across Africa as one of the leading experts in the African economy and regional integration. Abdou Diop has received numerous prestigious awards and titles and is recognized as one of the personalities transforming Africa. He is fluent in multiple languages (French, English, Arabic, Hindi).
