Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie
Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie is a Nigerian journalist, historian and lawyer known for her work in political and historical discourse. She co-hosts “The Dirty Lie” podcast, which delves into historical events, challenging common narratives and exploring lesser-known facts. In June 2023, she launched “Untold Stories with Adesuwa,” a platform featuring in-depth interviews with prominent Nigerian political figures, including President Olusegun Obasanjo, Former head of state Abdulsalami Abubakar, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Her diverse background includes studying History and Political Science at Duke University and obtaining a law degree in Nigeria. She also serves as a correspondent for ARISE News, covering significant events such as the UN General Assembly and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Adesuwa’s work is driven by a passion for educating young Nigerians about their country’s history and political landscape, aiming to bridge gaps in voter education and promote informed civic engagement.
