Our Board

Elected Board – 2026-27 Academic Year

President: Abbott LaPrade ’27

Abbott is a 3L from Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College and worked in politics before law school. At HLS, in addition to being President of ACS, he is an executive editor on the Civil Rights – Civil Liberties Law Review, a teaching fellow and a research assistant for Professors Jacob Gersen and Ruth Okediji, and an admissions fellow. He spent his 1L summer at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and his 2L summer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. 

Vice President: Madelynn Lederer ’27

Madelynn is a 3L from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024 (Hail to Pitt). In addition to her involvement with ACS, Madelynn is an Executive Managing Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, an Admissions Fellow, and a member of the Women’s Law Association. When she isn’t at her favorite desk in the back corner of Langdell, Madelynn enjoys running, reading, and baking.

Vice President: Joseph Magliocco ’27

Joe is a 3L from Riverside, Connecticut. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2021 with a B.A. in American History. Before law school, Joe spent three years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he served in several roles, including as Special Assistant to the Deputy U.S. Attorney. At HLS, Joe has continued to pursue his interest in litigation, spending a summer as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and another as a Summer Associate in Sidley Austin’s New York office. Prior to serving as Co-Vice President, Joe was a Programs Chair and a Section Representative for HLS ACS. Outside of law school, Joe is an avid golfer and sports fan. When he’s not studying, he can usually be found on the golf course, playing intramural sports, or cheering on the Mets, (World Champion) Knicks, and Patriots.

Programs Chair: Rob Casey ’28

Rob is a 2L from Deerfield, Massachusetts. He graduated from Amherst College in 2020, where he played baseball and majored in Political Science and French. Prior to HLS, Rob spent five years in New York City conducting geopolitical and global macro research at Signum Global Advisors. During his 1L summer, Rob interned in the national security section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York. Next summer, he will be a litigation summer associate in WilmerHale’s Boston office. Rob is an avid proponent of East-West rail expansion in Massachusetts. 

Programs Chair: Alice Goulding ’28

Alice is a 2L from South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021, where she studied English, Middle Eastern Studies, and Art History, and worked in brand strategy consulting before law school. She spent her 1L summer at Cultural Heritage Partners, a plaintiffs’ law firm. In addition to ACS, Alice is involved with the Civil Rights–Civil Liberties Law Review, Women’s Law Association, and the Harvard Art Law Organization. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Cambridge-Boston restaurant/workout/art scene (though ideally not all at once).

Programs Chair: Samson Mostashari ’28

Samson is a 2L from Bethesda, Maryland. He graduated from Harvard College in 2023, receiving a degree in Social Studies. He previously served as Special Assistant to President & CEO Jeffrey Rosen at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. On campus, he works as Online Editor for the Harvard Law & Policy Review and belongs to the International Human Rights Clinic and the Middle Eastern Law Students’ Association. He spent his 1L summer at the New York Office of the Attorney General.

Treasurer: Khegan Meyers ’28

Khegan is a 2L from Temple Terrace, Florida. He graduated from Emory University with a Business degree in 2024, and worked for a year at McKinsey in New York before coming to HLS. Khegan’s interests in nonprofits, emerging technologies, and building a healthy democracy led him to spend his 1L summer with the MacArthur Foundation’s legal team. Outside of law school, Khegan is an avid baker, cyclist neophyte, and audio-bibliophile.

Secretary: Alexander Park ’28

Alex is a 2L from Belmont, Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard College in 2023, where he researched what drives Asian American voter turnout. Between college and law school, he spent two years as a consultant at McKinsey in Washington, DC. At HLS, Alex is a Lead Articles Editor for the Civil Rights–Civil Liberties Law Review and is involved with the Election Law Clinic. He spent his 1L summer with the public integrity and appeals sections of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. In his free time, Alex plays jazz trumpet and softball, and cheers on the Patriots, Red Sox, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Membership Director: Izzy Bush ’28

Izzy is a 2L from Cambridge, Massachusetts. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2021 with a B.A. in Political Theory and a minor in Economics. Before coming to HLS, she worked as a corporate paralegal at Ropes & Gray where she supported the Private Investment Funds team and worked pro bono supporting Afghan refugees seeking humanitarian status in the US. Later, she worked at American Industrial Partners in-house supporting the General Counsel with internal compliance, entity structuring, tax compliance and international M&A deals. During her 1L summer, Izzy worked as a legal intern for the NYC Department of Investigations General Counsel. At HLS, she’s involved with HLS Democrats, In Vino Veritas Wine club, HLS flag football, and is completing an externship with the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office. Outside of the law, she loves playing tennis, cooking, and any excuse to socialize.
