Juan Jorge

Juan Jorge is an LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School and a lawyer admitted in Argentina. He has seven years of combined professional and academic experience in international arbitration and international law. Before joining HLS, he worked as Senior Associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, where he represented states and private clients in high-stakes investment and commercial arbitrations under ICSID, ICC, and UNCITRAL rules. In 2025, he was recognized by Legal 500 Latin America as a “stand-out” practitioner in arbitration.

Alongside practice, Juan has taught International Arbitration and Private International Law at the University of Buenos Aires for several years, earning top scores in public teaching evaluations and the school’s Academic Distinction award. He has also coached student teams in international arbitration moot competitions and lectured on legal writing and law & literature.

Juan is the author of more than twenty book chapters and articles on international law, arbitration, and legal education. He has also been actively involved in professional organizations, including serving as a founding member of the Executive Committee of Argentina Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (AVYAP) between 2020 and 2022, among others.

At Harvard, Juan intends to deepen his expertise in dispute resolution and explore the intersection between law & literature.
