Abril Elverdin received her LL.B. from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, before joining Harvard Law School as an LL.M. Candidate (’25). Abril spent several years practicing in Argentina, where she was part of an international arbitration team in investment treaty disputes, she has experience in litigation related to tax measures, pension systems, hydrocarbons and mining, among others. Abril has represented clients before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). In addition to her arbitration practice, Abril served as an Adjunct Professor of Public International Law and International Investment Arbitration at her alma mater. She is an active member of the Latin American Society of International Law (LASIL). Abril also represented Argentina in various moot court competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court Competition. In her free time, Abril enjoys traveling, reading Latin American literature, and collaborating with moot court teams as a coach.
