Carlos is an LL.M. Candidate at Harvard Law School from Mexico. He graduated suma cum laude from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and completed suma cum laude a certificate on international arbitration from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City (Mexico). During his time in ITAM, Carlos spent an exchange semester at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden (Germany). Carlos has more than five years of experience in DLA Piper’s International Arbitration practice group and White & Case’s Energy and Infrastructure practice group. During this time, Carlos had the opportunity to closely experience and understand the mechanics of commercial and investment arbitrations from the perspective of the lawyers, arbitrators and experts involved. He has also participated in numerous events hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico and in arbitration-related academic ventures. Carlos is fluent in English and German and is a Spanish native speaker.
