Wen Sun (Sunny) is an LL.M. Candidate at Harvard Law School and a Yenching Scholar. She holds dual degrees in Law and Mathematical Finance from China, during which she also studied at the European Law School of Maastricht University and received training in trial advocacy in California. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Master’s degree in Law and Society from the Yenching Academy of Peking University and completed an MPhil in Environmental Policy at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. She has been recognized with national prizes in the Jessup Moot Court Competition and the WTO Competition, as well as an international first prize at the Yale Global Policy Hackathon. Her professional experience includes working for the then-Chief Justice of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and contributing to projects at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.She has also worked with leading law firms such as Jones Day and Yingkun Law Firm. In addition, she helped organize the Summer Seminar at the Xiamen Academy of International Law and participated in the Summer Program at The Hague Academy of International Law. As Academic Programming Director, she co-organized the renowned Yenching Global Symposium.
