Partnerships

The Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN) and the Harvard African Law Association (HALA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2018, on Policy and Legal Research, Training, Capacity-Building and mutually beneficial work on Trade Law and Policy Clinics. In January 2018 the first cohort of HALA students worked at the NOTN during Harvard’s Winter Term, students have been continuing this tradition each winter thereafter. for more information on the program, and to apply, please email hala@mail.law.harvard.edu

The Ministry of Justice of the Gambia (MOJ) and the Harvard African Law Association (HALA) collaborated to bring HALA students to work at the Banjul Office of the MOJ during Harvard’s Winter Term in January 2019 where students did work on the post-authoritarian review Constitutional Review Process.
