The Harvard Law Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review invites First Class student members to submit writing on topics of civil rights and civil liberties for publication in Volume 58.2 of the journal. This opportunity is ideal for all law students interested in researching and writing topics of social justice including policing, voting, employment discrimination, and other pertinent topics, students completing a writing requirement who would also like to be published in a law review before graduating, and students interested in being involved with a reputable journal respected by lawyers reviewing applications for clerkships and other legal research and writing-heavy roles.
CR-CL welcomes pieces by students written in the traditional law review style, or as case comments, critical race theory pieces, book reviews, or something entirely different. Submissions may be in the form of a finished paper or a comprehensive proposal. Submissions are due by October 7, 2022 at 11:59pm EST. Please reach out to the student writing team (studentwriting.crcl.vol58@gmail.com) if you have any questions or would like to hear more about the process and benefits. If you are a student interested in submitting an article for publication, please also fill out this form. With this information, our journal will be able to forward you additional information relating to this opportunity.
