The following offices at Harvard offer advice tailored to international students and their on-campus experience.

Harvard International Office

The Harvard International Office (HIO) is part of the University’s Central Administration and offers services to international students and scholars at Harvard College, the graduate and professional schools. The office provides information on a wide range of topics, including immigration issues (work permits, travel), financial questions, social and cultural differences, and resources at Harvard and in the community. International students should report to the Harvard International Office (HIO) immediately after arriving in the United States.

Harvard Law School Office of Career Services

The Office of Career Services (OCS) is a team of advisors and recruitment professionals who work with current students, alumni and employers with a focus on private sector careers and judicial clerkships.  The office works closely with our sister office, the Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA), who advise on public sector career pursuits.

Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA)

As a career services office at Harvard Law School specializing in public interest law, OPIA encourages law school students and lawyers to embrace a career that incorporates an ongoing commitment to public service work. Harvard Law School Student Financial Services

HLS Student Financial Services is home to financial aid, Low Income Protection Plan and the Summer Public Interest Funding Program. Student Financial Services assists students with billing issues and administers the financial clearance process each term.
