La Alianza is a student-run organization composed of Latinx and Latin American law students and students interested in issues affecting the Latinx community at Harvard Law School. Our organization strives to create a community at Harvard Law that enables students to excel academically, socially, and professionally.
La Alianza reaches out to incoming students and provides advice on how to succeed academically in law school. This outreach continues throughout a student’s tenure by connecting students with Latinx Alumni mentors around the world who may help them with their academic and professional goals.
In addition to our community building efforts, La Alianza also co-sponsors a yearly conference addressing issues pressing to the Latinx community and providing an opportunity for students to meet Latinx leaders.
Throughout our efforts, we seek to promote the work and achievement of Latinos and Latinas in the law, and create a warm and welcoming home for our members.
