Susan Butler Plum is the founding Director of the Skadden Foundation. The Foundation awards two-year fellowships to 25 graduating law students devoted to public interest work. Prior to this role, Ms. Plum was the director of the Botwinick-Wolfensohn Foundation and the program director of the Booth Ferris Foundation. She also served as the associate director for the Environmental Defense Fund.
Aside from her extraordinary work at Skadden, Ms. Plum serves on several boards. She is on the Advisory Board of The Kathryn A. McDonald Education Advocacy Project at the Legal Aid Society of New York, the International Advisory Council of the Harvard School of Public Health AIDS Initiative, and on the Harvard Law School Venture Fund Advisory Group.
