Janet Crepps is Senior Counsel in the U.S. Legal Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Her work includes litigation fighting bans on “partial-birth abortions” and domestic policy work in the area of reproductive rights. Prior to working at the Center for Reproductive Rights, Ms. Crepps was a consultant for the Reproductive Freedom Project a the American Civil Liberties Union and a lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho. She also served as Assistant Public Defender in Anchorage, Alaska and previously worked in private practice.

Ms. Crepps holds a J.D. from University of Washington Law School and a B.A. from the College of Idaho. Post-graduation, she clerked for the Honorable James Singleton of the Alaska Court of Appeals.
