Faustina Pereira is the Director of Human Rights and Legal Aid Services at BRAC, the world’s largest development organization. A lawyer, human rights activist and author, her book The Fractured Scales: The Search for a Uniform Personal Code was awarded a Gold Medal by the Asiatic Society. She is a former director of Ain O Salish Kendra. In 2006 she was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Ms. Pereira received her doctorate in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame.
