Professor Vanita Saleema Snow works as the Adjunct Professor and Assistant Director of the Office of Career and Professional Development at the University of the District of Columbia’s David A. Clarke School of Law. Snow worked as a managing attorney of the Neighborhood Legal Services Program and also worked at the Georgia Legal Services Program and the Advocates for Justice and Education in Washington, D.C. She has been dedicated to helping low income communities and always said, “the universe is on the side of justice.” Throughout her legal career, she has focused on affordable housing and education disparity issues and worked to remedy the lack of available resources for marginalized communities and the disproportionate treatment of disenfranchised groups. At Georgia Legal Services Program, she was a significant force in establishing the State-wide Educational Advocacy for pro bono and legal services attorneys, and conducted numerous trainings throughout Georgia on school discipline procedures and special education law. She is an inspiring attorney and mother and is praised for her strength, dedication, resilience, aptitude, and compassion.

Snow earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University and J.D. from the District of Columbia School of Law.
