We can prepare federal and state tax returns for free for taxpayers whose annual income is below $54,000, as well as for international students and researchers.
Please note that while we can prepare most tax returns, some taxpayers may have situations that are too complicated for our service. Click HERE for more detailed information.
LOCATION AND HOURS
Our volunteer location is the main Cambridge Public Library at 449 Broadway. Upon entering the building, go straight through the checkout area, and take the elevators to your left, down to L2.
We are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays from February 9th – April 17th, except for the week of March 10th – 18th.
Fridays: 12:00PM – 4:30PM
Saturdays: 10:00AM – 3:00PM
Monday: 5:00PM – 7:30PM
Please note that we do not take appointments, and that we tend to be more crowded later in the tax season, so we recommend that you come us soon as possible to get your return done.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Be sure to bring with you all of your tax forms (W-2s, 1099s, etc.), including your MA 1099-HC form (health insurance form), your driver’s license (or other form of ID), and Social Security cards for everyone in your family. We will not be able to do your tax return if you do not bring these documents. For a more complete and detailed list, click HERE.
