{"id":19,"date":"2016-10-30T19:11:47","date_gmt":"2016-10-30T19:11:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hlsorgs3stg.wpenginepowered.com\/reprojustice\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2025-10-06T23:27:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T23:27:14","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/orgs.law.harvard.edu\/reprojustice\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Harvard Law School Alliance for Reproductive Justice (ARJ)<\/strong> is a student-run organization that promotes reproductive justice as a <strong>civil<\/strong> and <strong>human<\/strong> <strong>right<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistersong.net\/reproductive-justice\">SisterSong<\/a> Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, reproductive justice is &#8220;the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes the right and ability to make informed choices about one\u2019s body, one\u2019s sexuality, and one\u2019s desire (or<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> not) for a family.
