Twenty NSLA members were chosen to participate in a cutting-edge research project, led by Professor Heymann.

The objective of this research project is to assess what can be done, and at what cost, to reduce the danger of a terrorist attack at each stage of a terrorist’s activity. This project involves developing possible options and assessing the likely effectiveness in discouraging the actor from moving forward with his or her plan. These students will be working with national security professionals from various organizations including the FBI, CIA and Department of Justice, as well as other national security experts.
