Lawyers are natural advocates, but the type of writing that makes for successful advocacy in the courtroom is very different from the type of writing that persuades a general audience to care about your cause. Join Cara Solomon, a journalist, founder of The Small Story<\/a>, and Communications Coordinator of the Human Rights Program for a workshop that will help students build skills and confidence in this type of writing. Topics covered include how to hook readers, how to structure arguments, how to simplify technical content, and how to use anecdotes and illustrations effectively.<\/p>\n Please note that participants
