Project partners include the ABA Criminal Law Section\u2019s International Committee, the Center for Civil Society in India, and the Collaborative African Genomics Network, among others. Descriptions of the projects are available <a href=\"https:\/\/orgs.law.harvard.edu\/lids\/lids-projects\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to work on a LIDS project, you must be a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">current graduate student <\/span>in the Boston area. Team members are expected to dedicate 3-5 hours per week on average to their project.<\/p>\n<p>Team members are primarily responsible for preparing the deliverable, which\u00a0may be a legal memo, policy report, or business plan, among other possibilities. This\u00a0role involves research work, which can include conventional research and potentially interviewing individuals or experts on\u00a0the subject matter. Being a team member is an excellent opportunity to work\u00a0with an external development group and gain subject matter expertise and\u00a0valuable employment skills. Expertise in the subject matter is not essential, but\u00a0a demonstrated interest in the topic is expected, as is a commitment to the project.
