JLSA has already spoken out against the Palestine Solidarity Committee’s statement and continues to fundamentally reject the notion that any actor other than Hamas is responsible for the atrocities in Israel. At the same time, we are committed to creating a safe environment for students on campus.

We would like to circulate a statement we shared in response to several instances of doxing and reiterate that we do not support indiscriminate targeting of students. We join Harvard Hillel and several other Harvard-affiliated groups in condemning the doxing occurring at present.

“Harvard Hillel strongly condemns any attempts to threaten and intimidate co-signatories of the Palestine Solidarity Committee’s statement, including the bus on campus displaying the names and faces of students affiliated with the groups who have signed it. We will continue to reject the PSC’s statement in the strongest terms — and demand accountability for those who signed it. But under no circumstances should that accountability extend to public intimidation of individuals. Such intimidation is counterproductive to the education that needs to take place on our campus at this difficult time.”

During this difficult time, we, HLS students, need to focus on supporting those hurting in the face of unspeakable violence — JLSA appreciates the outpouring of support from Jewish and non-Jewish students alike on campus and hopes our classmates continue to care for one another.

As you may have seen, many students who were or are affiliated with the organizations signed onto the Palestine Solidarity
