Rebecca Schwartz is a 2L from the Philadelphia suburbs. She graduated from Emory University with degrees in economics and sociology. At HLS, she is the Co-Director of Impact Litigation for the Prisoners\u2019 Legal Assistance Project (PLAP). She also participates in the Civil-Rights Civil-Liberties Law Review<\/em>. Rebecca spent her 1L summer at Milberg, a plaintiff-side class actions firm. She will work at Scott+Scott this upcoming summer, doing plaintiff-side antitrust. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys gluten-free cooking, hosting parties, and playing with her dog, Teddy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Co-President<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Emma Ronzetti is a 2L from Miami, Florida. She earned her B.A. in economics, with minors in statistics and American Sign Language, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. Continuing at Penn, she completed a graduate degree in 2022 in behavior and decision sciences, specializing in behavioral economics. Before law school, Emma worked as a pre-doctoral fellow at Harvard Business School in its Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit. At HLS, in addition to HPLA, she is a lead supervising editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation<\/em> and serves as a BSA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Communications Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Lily is a 1L from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Fordham University in 2025 with majors in American Studies and Creative Writing. At HLS, Lily is also involved in the Prison Legal Assistance Project, the Journal of Law and Gender, <\/em>the Journal of Law and Technology<\/em>, and Parody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Communications Co-Chair<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Katie Baughman is a 1L from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Fordham University, Rose Hill in 2025 with a major in English and a minor in Russian. At HLS, she is also a writer for Parody. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching hockey, and hanging out with her two cats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Secretary<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Martin Konstantinov is a 2L from Sanford, Florida. He graduated in 2021 from Northwestern University with a degree in Political Science and History. In 2022, Martin received a Master\u2019s in Political Theory from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Prior to law school, Martin worked as a litigation paralegal at an international defense firm in New York. At HLS, Martin is a member of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review<\/em> and Critical Corporate Theory Lab. Martin spent his 1L summer at Berger Montague in their Appeals & Complex Briefing practice and will return this upcoming summer. In his free time, Martin enjoys playing competitive soccer and futsal, learning geography trivia, and studying poker strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasurer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tara Mou is a 2L from Rochester, New York. She graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in International Affairs and Economics. Before law school, Tara worked as a fourth-grade teacher in Gallup, New Mexico and as an analyst in the energy industry. At HLS, she is active with the Harvard Immigration Project, National Lawyers Guild, and Project No One Leaves. She also serves as an Articles Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender<\/em>. In her spare time, she enjoys kickboxing, brewing traditional Moroccan tea, and cooking new recipes for family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Professional Development Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ethan Neuschwander is a 1L from Goshen, Indiana. He graduated in 2025 from Amherst College, where he majored in Spanish. In addition to HPLA, Ethan is also a student attorney for the Prison Legal Assistance Project, Social Chair for Section 3\u2019s social committee, and a member of Christian Union. In his free time, Ethan loves baking sourdough, singing jazz, and reading Agatha Christie mysteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Professional Development Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Katy Haden is a 1L from Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated in 2023 from Columbia University, where she studied Political Science and Creative Writing. Before law school, she worked as a paralegal for the Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division. Aside from her role in HPLA, she is involved with the Prison Legal Assistance Project (PLAP), Parody, and the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. <\/em>She enjoys game nights, running, and playing spikeball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Alumni Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Cassie Ameen is a 1L from Parkland, Florida. She graduated from Duke University in 2025 with a B.A. in Public Policy. During college, Cassie studied Child and Family Policy and focused her research on implementing trauma-informed practices in child-serving systems. In her free time, Cassie enjoys running, pilates, and watching sitcoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alumni Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Zo\u00eb is a 1L from Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in History and Political Science, and a minor in Global Studies. She graduated in 2024 from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Economics and English. Aside from HPLA, Jenna is an executive board member of the Alliance for Reproductive Justice, an editor for the Journal of Law and Gender, and a member of the Harvard Immigration Project. She enjoys upcycling thrifted clothing and making breakfast sandwiches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Events Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kyup Lee is a 2L from North York, Ontario. He graduated in 2022 from the University of Toronto with a BASc in Civil Engineering. He spent his 1L summer at the Missouri State Public Defender System in St. Louis. At HLS, Kyup is also involved with the Prison Legal Assistance Project, and enjoys playing League of Legends in his free time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership and Social Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Matt Lupo is a 1L and graduate of Georgetown University. Before law school, he worked at Deloitte in DC as a government consultant for federal agencies like the Office of Refugee Resettlement. At HLS, Matt is a student attorney with the Prison Legal Assistance Project and an Article Selection Editor for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review<\/em>. He is also the Harvard Plaintiffs\u2019 Law Association Pickleball Champion and winner of the 1L Softball Tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership and Social Co-Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ethan Blue Reichsman is a 1L from Marlboro, Vermont. He attended Deep Springs College and Harvard college, graduating in 2019. He then worked in documentary film and television as a researcher and producer, including projects for HBO and NBC. Outside of HPLA, Ethan represents incarcerated people in Massachusetts with the Prison Legal Assistance Program. He is on the board of HLS Abundance, a member of the Civil Rights – Civil Liberties Law Review<\/em>, and a Research Assistant for Professor Jon Hanson.
