2023-2024 Leadership Board

Heather Zhou, Co-President
Heather is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School. She graduated from Duke University with double majors in public policy and French studies. She served as a law clerk for the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology and the Law this past spring and spent her 2L summer at Sullivan & Cromwell.

Louis Hunt, Co-President
Louis is a fourth-year JD/MBA student at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. Louis was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to the Boston area during elementary school. Over the past few summers, Louis worked as an EIR at Pioneer Square Labs and led Special Projects for Lightning Labs. Prior to school, Louis worked as the COO of a fast-growth CPG company and a consultant at Bain & Company.
Xiaoli Jin, Co-president

Xiaoli is a third-year JD student at Harvard Law School. She graduated from Middlebury College in 2019 with a double major in Computer Science and Political Science. Prior to law school, she worked at Keystone Strategy as a consultant, focusing on algorithmic bias, data privacy, and start-up growth strategy. In her 1L & 2L summers, she interned at Skadden, Palo Alto, where she worked on tax and IP matters. Xiaoli is also a non-residential tutor at Harvard Cabot House.

 

John Quin, Treasurer
John is a third-year law student at Harvard Law School, originally from Los Angeles, California. He graduated with High Distinction from UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics. Prior to law school, John spent two years working at Barclays as an investment banking analyst in the Bay Area, in their technology coverage group. He spent his 1L Summer working at Skadden in Palo Alto. He spent his 2L Summer working at Lazard in their Restructuring Group in New York.

 

LJ Huang, External Advisor

LJ is an external advisor to the HLS BFI. He has been a builder, operator, and researcher in the blockchain space since 2019. His interest lies in the intersection between law and blockchain, and would like to help address the most hands-on legal challenges to the HLS community. LJ holds a MS degree in computer science and writes for Bitcoin Magazine.
