She later completed a Qualifying Law Degree (LL.M.) at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, graduating early with distinction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining HLS, Mar practiced as an associate at Cuatrecasas under the firm\u2019s Pro-International Advocacy Program, rotating through its offices in Barcelona, New York, and Madrid. Her practice has focused on international arbitration\u2014both investor-State and commercial\u2014under major arbitral rules (including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, CAM, and MIAC). She has acted as counsel in high-stakes disputes in the oil &amp; gas, renewable energy, construction, and technology sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside her practice, Mar has lectured at leading Spanish law schools, including Universidad Carlos III, IE Law School, and Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She has co-authored articles published in La Ley (Wolters Kluwer), Aranzadi, and Thomson Reuters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mar is admitted to the Spanish Bar and will sit for the New York State Bar Examination in July 2026.
