International Arbitration Workshop: Cross Examination

March 5, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) will host its fifth session in the Workshop series. The Workshop will cover nine individual sessions with prominent practitioners and academics each time, beginning with the preliminary steps in a dispute and concluding with the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. HLS students who enroll in the Workshop and attend at least seven of the nine workshop sessions will be eligible for a certificate awarded by HIALSA.  Further information on the Workshop can be found here.

Following our first five sessions, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Elizabeth Devaney (Occidental Petroleum Corporation Senior Corporate Counsel – Litigation), Mr. Luke Sobota (Three Crowns Partner), Mr. Pablo Lopez Zadicoff (Compass Lexecon Senior VP), and Moderator Ms. Sara McBrearty (King & Spalding Associate) to discuss “Cross Examination.” Everyone interested in dispute resolution, international law, and beyond is welcome, regardless of prior knowledge. If you have any questions, please email HIALSA at hialsa@mail.law.harvard.edu.

Our distinguished speakers’ bios can be found here.

Non-pizza lunch will be served.

If you or an event participant requires disability-related accommodations, please contact DOS Accessibility Service at accessibility@law.harvard.edu or 617-495-1880 in advance of the event.
