Arbitration Goes Crimson!
The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) is the only organization at Harvard Law School that focuses exclusively on the exciting field of international arbitration. Our mission is to promote the study of arbitration on campus and to connect students and arbitration practitioners. HIALSA strives to offer a forum for students to learn about and discuss emerging topics in international arbitration and to develop connections between students and successful practitioners.
HIALSA organizes talks, presentations, conferences, a multi-part Arbitration Workshop Series, reading groups on arbitration, and mentoring programs in order to broadly expose Harvard Law School students to the world of international arbitration.
Mark Beckett, head of the International Arbitration group at Cooley and visiting professor at HLS, and Mark Wu, Professor at Harvard Law School, are HIALSA’s faculty advisors.
HIALSA has an Advisory Board composed of the most prominent arbitration practitioners and academics in the field, who will guide the association to fulfill its purposes.
