Sara Lucía Dangón-Novoa is an LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School from Colombia. She is a lawyer and holds an LL.M. in public international law from Universidad de los Andes.
Before joining Harvard, she was an associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, where she defended Latin American states before ICSID tribunals and advised on crypto-assets and hydrogen-based energy. Prior to Curtis, she was an advisor for Colombia’s Ministry of Trade, where she assisted in representing Colombia before the World Trade Organization and the Andean Community dispute settlement mechanisms. She also participated in negotiations for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines.
She served as International Economic Law Professor at Universidad de los Andes and Assistant Professor at Universidad Javeriana. She was the case author of the 19th Edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition and coached and participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
