Rape of Mr. Smith– This skit, intended to open class or aid transition into discussion, highlights the notion of victim blaming in cases of rape as opposed to other crimes. Through the humorous satire, “Mr. Smith’s robbery,” classes can explore how women are often challenged based on the idea that they “played a role,”  while the assailant’s crime is excused or overlooked.
