Since 1995, HALS has partnered with our colleagues at the Harvard Business School to host the Harvard Asia Business Conference. Over the past 25+ years, the Conference has grown to include student groups at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Graduate School of Design. The Conference is one of the leading wholly student-run events focused on Asia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Every spring, the Conference draws approximately 500 students, legal and business professionals, and government officials from across Asia and North America. Participants engage in a variety of panel discussions, presentations, workshops, and networking events covering recent developments and persistent issues in business, law, and governance in the Asia-Pacific. Past keynote speakers include Alibaba founder Jack Ma, World Bank General Counsel Ko-Yung Teng, and ASEAN Secretary General Ong Keng Yong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

HALS is proud to host the Conference as one of our flagship events. We have organized a series of panels focusing on the Asian legal industry and legal facets of business in Asia. Some recent topics include IPOs in Asian markets, entertainment law in Asia, practicing law as a woman in Asia, and IP disputes in Asia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
