Please join HALB for a conversation with Jamie Beaton – Co-Founder and CEO of Crimson Education – on entrepreneurship and the law.

Jamie received Bachelors and Masters degrees from Harvard University in 2016 and went on to complete MBA and Masters of Arts in Education Degrees from Stanford, a Rhodes Scholarship, and a Schwarzman Scholarship – all before pursuing his JD at Yale Law School, where he is today, focusing on corporate litigation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and activist investing.

Jamie is the co-founder and CEO of Crimson Education, which operates across over 20 countries supporting high schoolers to gain offers to the most competitive universities by using a combination of proprietary technology, content, and algorithms alongside its global network of over 20,000 students and 2,300 tutors and mentors. Crimson has raised more than $65M USD from some of the world’s leading venture investors like Tiger Global, and in 2020, Jamie launched Crimson Global Academy, a fully-accredited private online high school.

Jamie has been featured on the 2017 Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 List, appointed by the New Zealand National Party to a five-person panel tasked with conducting an external assessment of the political party and developing its long-term strategy, and authored USA Today Bestseller “ACCEPTED! Secrets to Gaining Admission to the World’s Top Universities”. Prior to founding Crimson, Jamie worked as the youngest-ever investment analyst for Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management.
